Rituals to Keep the Energy of Your Home in Balance

In my daily life, I have my own rituals to keep the energy of my home balanced:

First of all, your house is yours and no one else can influence its energy. It is a reflection of you. The only thing you have to fear is fear itself. Always remember that.

The full moon period is the most powerful time for both spiritual and physical cleansing. At these times, I like to light a candle in the north, south, east, and west of my house, with the intention that all accumulated negative energy and everything that is no longer beneficial to me will leave. It is important that the candles are made of soy or beeswax and scented with pure essential oils, not synthetic fragrances. My favorites are those with patchouli, frankincense, sage, and lavender.

To enhance abundance and prosperity in my home, I like to place a crystal bowl of water in a favorite corner and add a few drops of essential oils that have long been believed to amplify this energy. My favorites include frankincense, myrrh, orange, cinnamon, patchouli, vetiver, clove, ginger, and spruce. I use our special blend of essential oils created for this purpose.

At least once a week, I like to purify my house, all rooms, corners, center, and dark or damp areas, using a smudge of white sage. Sometimes I add frankincense and safflower or harmal seeds for a stronger synergistic effect. For a more practical option, you can mix frankincense and sage essential oils with water and alcohol and spray them into the air.

In season, I like to keep fresh St. John's wort flowers, and later, when they dry, I put them in a vase or hang them somewhere in the house, especially near the front door – they bring protective and beneficial energy.

Air out the bedroom, shake out the bedding, and spray a linen spray made with lavender essential oil – it’s great for relaxation, calm, and preparing for sleep.

Wiping mirrors and windows with vinegar is a simple and effective method of cleaning them both physically and energetically.

If you haven't worn a coat in the last year, you probably don't need it – donate it. This way you bring joy to someone else and make room for new things. In closets, instead of mothballs, I prefer to use cedar, lavender and orange essential oils – they are natural and smell wonderful.

To start the day with vitality, joy and balance between body, mind and soul, inhale the aroma of grapefruit essential oil or add it to your daily shower. In the evening, end the day with lavender – it relaxes, soothes and prepares the body for sleep. In the cold months, add a few drops of eucalyptus, thyme or peppermint essential oil to a bowl of water and place it on the radiator – it will purify the air and protect the house from viruses and bacteria.
